@mustangstevegt i did the same thing on mine 01 focus wagon and that doesn’t have one cabin filter , and also i broke the plastic from the windshiled too ! damm it
@mustangstevegt – yes, you have to press easily with care. if you broke a plastic, you can replace it. if the plastic not cover right on the windshield, the water (from rain) enter through the pollen filter in the right place of your car. sorry my english

i just put the filter in my 00 today. i noticed it did not previously have a filter in it. there was a screen the fit in place of where the cabin air filter filter should have been. with the filter in place, the previous ford plastic screen wont fit over it.
i also broke a piece of the plastic windshield cover trim taking that piece out. i think the trick is to press down on those circle indentations on the plastic trim piece?

Hi thank for video but I dont really like the music much. What is the second filter you have change call? and what is it for?
I have found that the airflow through the dashboard vents is pretty poor unless you have the fan on, is this because the pollen filter restricts the air flow into the car?, is this common on cars with cabin filters? Has anyone tried it without the filter to see if the ventilation is better without the filter in place? I just dont like having the fan on all the time, the focus seems to be misting up the inside of the screen and side windows very easily compared to my old honda which had no filter
i just found out my 01 focus was bought brand new without the filter. Installed it today but the cowl is not sitting right.

is a small piece of sponge to prevent dust to come. is included in the set you buy from the shop
What’s the small thing you put in before the air filter? I’ve changed the air filter several times in my ’01 Focus but never had the small black thing.

tragi in sus ca iese plasticul fara nici o problema. clemele alea albe intra prin presare (apasare). doar daca e plasticul foarte imbatranit se rup clemele dar nu e cazul…bafta
mestere cum pot sa scot plasticul de deasupra la filtru de polen?desfac suruburile si cum scot clemele ca sa nu le rup?alea 2 albe ce apar in film

My 02 SPI never came with a cabin air filter and I had to buy one to reduce the dust in the interior of my focus. IDK if my 07 has one I might take a look see.
