I have a aqua fresh refrigerator water filter model #WF 285 which cracked. I would like to know if anyone else has had a problem with aqua fresh filters.
The AquaFresh WF285 Replacement Filter fits all refrigerators that use Whirlpool / KitchenAid 4396508 & 4396510 water filters, or Kenmore 46-9902, 46-9908, and 46-9010 water filters.

A few people have said that the filters are difficult to install, so you might have gotten a defective one or you may have installed it incorrectly thanks to the difficulty in installation. Another possibility is that the water pressure in your house is too high for the filter to cope with and that could cause all sorts of unusual problems.
