no… some do in fact LAST longer than others…
all pretty much work the same… its just you can get some that have tougher material and require less changing…

I do not think so…..be sure you change monthly and do not forget to always check your fluids……Brake fluid…..transmission fluid…..water….battery…steering fluid….My papaw taught me this and has helped my used care last longer……
I avoid foam filters.. they are just too restrictive.. K&N has more air flow, but also allows in more debris.. not much more though.. I use a K&N. PS. K&Ns last virtually forever as they can be cleaned and re-oiled.
there are a lot of difference in the quality of air filters….but if fuel mileage is your goal….try a k/ n filter… they are a lifetime air filter u wash them out with soap and water and then spray a special k/n oil on it before you reinstall it they claim a fuel increase we get about 2 miles a gallon better with our k/n air filter…..the main difference in filters is the amount of paper or filtering element that’s in it…..go to the parts store and tell the counter guy what u want to do and they will show you what they have…
