Filtered at home with reverse osmosis filter system.
I have a whole house sediment filter because of some fine sand in our well water. Otherwise our water tests fine and needs no other filter.
I have well water and whole house filters….i also have an extra filter for drinking water under the sink.
I used to have a water filter under my sink (a cartridge type), but now I live in a rental, and use a tap-mounted filter.
Yes, city water is filtered, treated and then sent to your house. Most houses that have a public water supply get their water from a resivior somewhere in the surrounding towns. These are not much different than a lake, and most are closed off to the public. The water gets sent to a plant, where they filter the water, add chlorine to kill bacteria, and add other stuff to treat it. Then, it eventually comes to your house in pipes. People who have well water most likely have a treatment/filter at their house. Some people have community well water, where it sometimes is treated before it comes to their house.
water from sink is filtered ,but not healty for drinking .It has lot of heavy material which for long time use will cause of kidny stone. To use that type of water you must boil the water 2 times and then cool it for drink.
