As noted by some prior reviewers, my filter was not 4″ thick, I measured it as about 4 3/8″. This extra thickness did not allow it to work in my heater system.

I was able to modify the filter with a utility knife, cutting slots into the top of the paper frame, which allowed it to slide inside the unit.

Past experiences with Amazon purchases have not been so good. Non-Amazon Sellers in the Amazon system are a lot better. Guess Amazon is too big to care.

The product was not the size stated. I ordered 20x20x4 but it is a 20x20x4.5 and will not work. I hate having to return things, this is not at all like amazon to state the wrong size.

Be careful with your measurements. I thought I measured the previous insert carefully but this was too small for my air cleaner. And it did not slide onto the existing track. If you do not have a Honeywell, I wouldn’t buy it. I am using it until I can get the right one for my cleaner.

FYI the 20×25 fits perfectly in my spaceguard filter.

Don’t be deceived by the advertised dimension 16x20x4 inches. The actual dimension was 16x20x4.4 inches. I think this was meant for 4.5 inches height. I couldn’t put this filter into my furnaces and ended up to return it.
