The price given for this product is the the price for a three-pack of water filters from any other vendor. However, Amazon only ships one filter, not a three-pack, which is what the price would otherwise imply you are buying. This is dishonest. Beware of this bad product description!
Edit: The original price (~$90) was competitive with the price of a three-pack from a local hardware store (~$110). The price currently listed is now the correct price for a *single* filter. In other words, I was correct that Amazon was not being honest with the original part description and price!

It works good for it’s little size. Should be one of your many treatments for Water in the Home. But even better(for the $$$) is a good Water Filter for your Shower/Bath systems. But only if you want to live longer,look better and have less allergies….LOL! True your skin is the largest organ so it’s best always to bath/shower with the cleanest water possible. The water filter works great. I don’t understand why the literature says to replace it every 6 months, but the “replace filter” light doesn’t light up for 2 years. Also, I can’t figure out how to turn the “replace filter” light off. Yes. I read the instructions.

The correct filter was delivered and fit perfectly. Please note the description is wrong, they will send only one filter, not three. Either way it is still a great price.

This filter is the original correct part for our GE fridge. In terms of how good it is, I would say it is not as good as filters I get for my kitchen faucet. I can taste the difference. But, hey, there is not better choice that I know of that would improve on it.
