Hunter QuietFlo Replacement Carbon Pre-Filter
Product was acceptable just took too long to get to me. I needed to call after almost 2 weeks to see when it would arrive. However it done arrive shortly after I called and they discounted my order $10 for delay.

As a couple of others have already mentioned this replacement cut-to-order filter is only large enough to get one replacement filter out of rather than the two stated on the box. Purifier Model 30547 needs a 19.5 x 13.5 pre-filter to completely cover the Hepa filter. Anything smaller will allow dust directly into the Hepa filter shortening it’s life considerably. Pre-filter 30901 is the designated part to replace the original for this model.

The box includes a mat of the air filter media large enough to cut at least six replacement filters for my particular unit. Unfortunately, it does not include a template but recommended you use the dirty one in your unit for fit. This, of course, leaves dirt on the new filter as well as your table, scissors, and person. Not the most convenient. I would be glad to pay a couple extra dollars if Hunter would first, precut them to my specific size, and second, let people know they will get more than one filter from this box. The price is a bit alarming until you realize it’s more than one replacement filter and quite the value when you get six. Overall, I am happy with my Hunter air purifier and the ease of replacement. Yes, yes, I used the new clean filter as a template for cutting the remaining filter media!

They give you one piece that you are suppose to be able to cut into two usable pieces for all units. But you could only cut it into one usable piece for our unit. It smells! It makes the whole room smell!

Must be cut to size but large enough for two air filters, or double the replacments if you only have one. Good deal.
