This Filter works great with my system I think it is a little costly but I new this when I bought my Filter.

This filter definitely collects dust, but I can’t tell how efficient it really is and down to what particulate size. Even with this filter running 24/7, the kids tend to cough and sneeze at night unless I let the Roomba vacuum loose in their room for an hour or two ahead of time. I might ask 3M for the filter’s particulate collection curve to see what it is REALLY catching.

I will only buy this type of air cleaner and filter. They are great. I am saddened that the filters are so expensive…we go through so many. I am thankful I can get them thru this seller on Amazon as they are a
much better deal and come quickly. : )

We use this in our basement in a Filtrete room air filter. It keeps mold and mildew out of the air very well, and allows us to keep clothing in a room that otherwise would not stay “fresh smelling.”
I do add a layer of activated carbon, cut from Honeywell universal replacement pre-filter material, taped to the front, just to enhance the filter’s ability to remove smells from the air. Together, the two filters do a wonderful job. The air smells great, and my wife doesn’t sneeze from allergens in the air there anymore.
The four-pack is the best way to buy. Unfortunately, Amazon seems to be about the only place to get these filters anymore.
